About the Department<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Department of Commerce was established in the year 1998 with a vision of providing excellence in the fields of Commerce and management by imparting quality and value based education in this rural and \u2018Kandi Area\u2019 of Punjab. Over the years, this department has carved an enviable niche in the field of Commerce and management education and got Master of Commerce (M.Com) in 2012. The department is proud to be the Alma Mater of many Chartered Accountants. Since its inception, the primary aim of the department has been to make the commerce students respond to changing social realities through the development and application of knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n

Vision<\/span><\/h2>\n

To be a department of academic excellence with total commitment to quality education in Commerce, management, economics and related fields, with a holistic concern for better life, environment and society.<\/span><\/p>\n

*Empowering students with all the knowledge and guidance that they need to become worthy management professionals<\/span><\/p>\n

 Our primary objective is to enable every student to cope up with the latest developments in contemporary, national and global level through effective transaction of the curricular and co-curricular aspects.<\/span><\/p>\n

Professional Excellence:<\/em><\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

 The department motivates molds and prepares the students for positions of leadership in business organizations at the local, national and international levels. The ultimate objective is to produce commerce graduates who possess the skills, problem solving tools and professionalism essential for being successful.<\/span><\/p>\n

Total Commitment:<\/em><\/strong><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

 The department is focused on the all-round development of the students\u2019 personality through proper education and exposure to the vast treasure of knowledge and by providing platforms for their socialization.<\/span><\/p>\n

 Department provides exposure to learners in the latest trends in relevant branches of knowledge, competence and creativity to face global challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

 Department inculcates a sense of civic responsibility, social commitment, and moral accountability among the students through social activities to with exposure to human rights, value system, culture, heritage and environment.<\/span><\/p>\n
